We are intentional about creating a welcoming environment where kids infant-5th grade have fun and experience the love of Jesus. We strive to create congregation-wide participation in our children’s ministries so that the everyone gets to know, appreciate and even learn from our kids.

INFANTS

Trinity Covenant Social Finals-10.jpg

Our nursery, birth-2ish is open during the whole Grow Time (9 -10 am) and worship service. Our dedicated volunteers truly love the littlest members of our congregation and look forward to caring for them while parents enjoy a Grow Time class and/or the worship service.

PRESCHOOL (About Age 2 to 5)

During the Grow Time hour (9 -10 am), we offer a Sunday school-type class for preschool kids. During that time, the kids have a safe place to play and receive a short lesson tailored to their age group.

During the worship service, the preschool kids start in service and are then invited to participate in their own class. The kids leave the service with their teachers shortly before the sermon and return to the service before it ends. This is creates a time for our younger kids to get their wiggles out, make friends and hear a simple lesson that is tailored for them, while giving parents an opportunity to hear the sermon without distraction.

ELEMENTARY (Kindergarten through 5th Grade)

During the Grow Time hour (9 -10 am), we offer a Sunday school-type class for our elementary kids. During that time, we learn about God’s Word in a format that tracks through the entire Bible over a period of three years. Our time typically includes a Bible lesson, prayer, crafts and of course, games!

During the worship service, the elementary kids start in service and are then invited to participate in their own time, which we call Kids’ Church. The kids leave the service with their teachers shortly before the sermon and return to the service before it ends. This is a time for kids to hear a message that is tailored for them, while giving parents an opportunity to hear the sermon without distraction. Of course, parents are always welcome to keep their children in the service if they prefer.

COMMUNITY CORNER

The Community Corner (the “Corner”) is our after-school program located at Trinity that provides a welcoming and safe place for children aged 1st-5th grade each afternoon to engage in constructive and fun activities.

For the past 15 years, children from primarily Liberty Elementary school have participated in a variety of program activities at the Corner that focuses on enhancing the physical, academic, social, and spiritual aspects of childhood development. We provide opportunities and space for children to explore new ideas, engage in imaginative outlets, and join in problem-solving activities.

We also have weekly offerings such as cooking and drawing classes in which the children can activitively participate in learning a new skill. Our core mission is this: to support the families in our neighborhood and to love every child that enters our doors.
