Chris Haydon, Senior Pastor Pastor Chris was called to Trinity Covenant Church Salem and began September 8,2002. He brings his family and 20 years of pastoring experience. He came from Trinity Covenant Church in Lexington, Massachusetts where he had been Senior Pastor for 12 years.He was born and raised in Boston He received his undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College, and graduated from Princeton Seminary in 1982. He attended North Park Seminary and obtained a Th. M. degree from Harvard. Pastor Chris believes that Trinity Covenant Church in Salem, Oregon was built for the community, that stewardship is the process of placing our hearts in God's hands and that our church family will be defined as a group of people who love the Lord, love one another deeply and are passionate about becoming new creations in Him. Mike Upchurch, Mid-High Youth Pastor Mike and his wife Renee have three sons. Mike has served both children and youth at Trinity since 1990. Mike graduated in 1977 from Oregon State University in business and worked in sales for 13 years while serving as a Young Life leader. He was commissioned this past year as a staff minister in the Evangelical Covenant Church. Mike's passions are his family and the youth at the church. He seeks to serve Christ and others through his relational ministries here at Trinity Covenant Church.
